Using digital to scale up

Skylane Optics is an European company established in 1998, supplying a wide range of optical transceivers, passive products and products for the smart-home. Skylane employs a staff of 48 people, with an annual turnover of 16 million Euros, 4 of which are reinvested in R&D.

Our mission was to create a digital presence and convey leadership position with a website that allows users to easily browse through more than 10.000 products and get in touch with the sales team.

Support business growth

With 99% of its order book generated by the international market and annual growth of 20%, Skylane Optics needed an agency and a partner to help it build a digital ecosystem capable of presenting its products creatively and strengthening its position as a leader in its field through 100% online sales.


To achieve this goal, we have set up two e-commerces based on wordpress and fully synchronized with CRM.

The quote request had to reflect the choices we had made for the visual identity, simple, effective and strong. Users can therefore define in just a few clicks the parameters of their request for quote, and this, obviously both on the desktop and on the mobile.

A true technical challenge

We built two e-commerce platforms for Skylane to help them handle the great diversity of their products. Both sites closely match their workflow and work perfectly with their internal tools.

Given the size of their product database, the integration of these platforms and their synchronization was a true technical challenge. But we’re very proud of the quality of the final product, in terms of user experience, accessibility and stability.
